On shaky legs
„It’s on you to make the chair a seat.“ In contrast to a normal chair, my conceptual design lacks the front two legs. These must be replaced by your own legs. In this way, the legs and back are constantly kept in motion and under tension in order to balance themselves while sitting. This promotes blood circulation, relaxes and increases concentration.
The result is a chair for one person and two double chairs for two persons. A passive (if not even active) interaction between the two „possessors“ is predictable. Sitting becomes unsteady, socially and physically noticeable. However, it remains only a companion for learning. Concentration and body feeling are supported.
